My life is divided up into two parts, before and after the incident.
Before the incident, the days were filled with bright blue skies to match my bright future. My dreams of college, career, boyfriend(s), love, marriage, and family were all within reach. Then out of nowhere it literally and figuratively blew up in my face, causing me to crash and burn.
After the incident, I existed in the darkness, hidden away from the rude stares, and ugly comments. But my heart clung to my dreams, so I forced myself out of the shadows. What I found in the light were two special boys who would change my life forever.
Risher fulfilled my dreams.
Benton fulfilled my purpose.
Both made my life extraordinary.
